Day 18 (February 15)

Accccccck!!! Today was amazing. I say that too much, but today really was. Everything here is!

I got up earlier than everyone else and no one was downstairs, so I settled down to watch movies and tv. As more people came downstairs we did the same thing. It was a lazy morning.

Later today we went up to Dun Laoghaire (pronounced: dun leery). It was our friend Anna’s 16th birthday today so we were all meeting at five to go to dinener and a movie. Behind her back, we planned to meet 2 hours earlier to shop for her gift. Instead of buying individual gifts, my friends all decided to pitch in on one massive one. This was much easier and cheaper this way. We had so much fun with our friends buying silly gifts and real ones too.

After shopping we went our friend up at this Italian restaraunt called Milanos. It is a real small Italian restaurant that was sooooooo yummy. One girl got an apetizer of bread balls that had a garlic butter dipping sauce. Oh my goodness!! The bread was so warms and soft and the butter was so good. I find it gross to eat straigt butter, but once the girl finished the bread I took the butter and started eating it. My arteries won’t be very happy that I ate it, but I certainly was. My friend Michagan and I shared a pizza. We randomly picked something off the menu, so I can’t say what kind it was we ordered, but it was yummy.

After dinner we saw the movie Youth in Revolt. The plot of the movie was really pointless, but it really liked it too.

The movie theatre here is so cool. Inside they have a candy shop that in like the Sweet Factory back home where you pick out your own candy and and are charged on how much you get. Before the movie, my friend Hannah decided we would share our candy so we bought LOADS (10 eros worth to be exact). This was a massive bag and all were in awe. By the time the movie was done, I was soooo sick. I usually eat something before I go to bed. But when I got home I didn’t eat a single bite, I was done with food.
